FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to composition of cast iron. It can be used for manufacturing machinery, operating in conditions of high thermocyclic load. Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 4.0-4.2; silicon 0.2-0.4; manganese 1.1-1.5; titanium 0.17-0.2; phosphor 0.003-0.008; tellur 0.001-0.002; calcium 0.01-0.03; cerium 0.6-1.0; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: cast iron allows high thermostability.
