SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly it relates to cast iron content. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.2; silicon 1.8-2.2; manganese 0.6-0.8; nickel 0.45-0.65; chrome 0.4-0.6; copper 0.25-0.35; cerium 0.11-0.13; hafnium 1.8-2.2; tin 0.002-0.004; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: application of invention hardens cast iron.
