SUBSTANCE: method for electrolyte-plasma removal of protective coatings used in the restoration of turbomachinery parts. The method involves immersing a part in an electrolyte, igniting a discharge between the workpiece and the electrolyte by applying an electric potential to the workpiece while forming a vapor-gas shell around the workpiece surface. In this case, an electrolyte is used based on an aqueous solution of neutral salts with the addition of fluoride ions, oxalate or citrate ions, and the concentration of fluoride ions capable of binding aluminum ions into soluble compounds is taken in the range from 0.02 to 0.2 mol/l, the concentration of citrate or oxalate ions capable of binding nickel ions into soluble compounds are taken in the range of 0.004 to 0.04 mol/l, and the concentration of neutral salts is taken in the range from 0.15 to 0.38 mol/l.

EFFECT: improving the quality and reliability of removing the aluminide coating with simultaneous polishing of the surface of the processed blades made of alloy steels and heat-resistant alloys.
