FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed process comprises simultaneous electrochemical forming of root profile and butt part and hardening. Hardening is executed by ion implantation at energy of 25 to 30 keV in amount of 1.6·1017 cm-2 to 2·1017 cm-2 at the rate of portion increase of 0.7·1015 s-1 to 1·1015 s-1. Ions Cr, V, Y, Yb, C, B, Zr, N, La, Ti or their combinations are use while said hardening by ion implementation is executed after electrochemical forming of root profile and butt part and hardening.

EFFECT: higher fatigue strength of gas turbine blades.
