FIELD: contact coolers.

SUBSTANCE: ventilator cooling stack comprises a rectangular in cross section case with air inlet windows in its lower portion; the said case is assembled on a water collecting pool, at that sequentially, from top to bottom of the case there are installed a water catcher, a water distributing collector with water spraying nozzles and a sprinkler made as at least four identical blocks, while on top of the case there is assembled a fan, containing a diffuser in form of a divergent-convergent shell and a blade wheel installed therein; a shaft of the wheel is connected to a rotating drive; at that the water distributing collector is designed as two parallel, connected to the source of cooling water, step-by-step narrowing supply pipes, to each of these overhung and opposite against one another four horizontal and step-by-step narrowing water distributing pipelines are connected; each of the latter pipelines is in its turn connected with horizontal water take-off pipes with water sprinkling nozzles; at that water take-off pipes are arranged at an equal distance and parallel to one another; water sprinkling nozzles are arranged in a chess-like order; one water take-off pipelines are made with six water sprinkling nozzles, while others are made with five water sprinkling nozzles with alternation of the said water take-off pipelines between them; a convergent portion of the diffuser is made gradually narrowing with a rectangular inlet section equal to a rectangular section of the case whereon a diffuser is installed.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation of a ventilator cooling stack.
