SUBSTANCE: invention relates to artillery and motor common, star or smoke projectiles. The proposed shell comprises a metal housing filled with explosive, the housing being furnished with skewed bosses and a ring fitted behind the said bosses and blocking the clearance between the housing cylindrical part and gun barrel inner surface. The housing lower part accommodates, at least, three aforesaid bosses with their height that ensures axially symmetric position of the shell in the gun tube that makes it a subcaliber shell.
EFFECT: increased range of fire, material ratio and reduced labour input in manufacture.
