FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to small-sized sealed neutron tubes and can be used in neutron generators designing for surveying geophysical and commercial wells. In the claimed neutron tube, anode is made in the form of grounded metal body, anode surface is located directly on inner surface of cylinder constant magnet, and cathode and anticathode are isolated from grounded metal body.
EFFECT: neutron yield increase without tube size increase, increasing of anode diametre and magnetic field strength at anode surface, increasing of electron lifetime in discharge in crossed magnet and electric fields, increasing of ion current and increasing of neutron flux in sealed neutron tube respectively.
