FIELD: neutrons generation devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices that generate neutrons and can be used to analyze the composition of substances, neutron well logging, scientific research. The pulsed neutron flux generator contains a conductive grounded case with a sealed neutron tube with a target, an anode, a cathode, an anticathode and a thermal cathode placed in it, connected to the cathode at one end. The accelerating voltage source is connected between the conductive case and the target. The anode is connected to the housing, the hot cathode is connected to a power source through a transformer. The modulator creates pulses of negative polarity with positive spikes at the output. The anticathode is connected to the modulator, the cathode is connected to the modulator through a diode by the diode cathode to the output of the modulator.

EFFECT: reduction of the delay time, the duration of the leading and trailing edges of the neutron pulses of the generator.
