FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: sealed neutron tube for intracavitary irradiation of oncological patients comprise of: earthed metal body; tubular probe connected to it with one end, and having tritium target on the opposite end; deuterium ions source; all being divided with high-voltage insulator. The insulator is placed into the body, the ions source is fixed on insulator end opposite to the probe, and other insulator end is connected with body.
EFFECT: reducing drift space of ions in accelerating zone.
