FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to electric engineering, in particular to electric equipment of transport, namely to power terminating resistor modules for electric traction transport, for example for diesel-electric locomotive. The device contains resistance element in the form of zigzag band with parallel sections and bending points fixed on holders installed between separating insulators mounted on two parallel clamped pins tied up by terminal insulators. On each pin, insulating sleeves are installed each one of which is located between two neighboring separating insulators with possibility to place opposite ends of insulating sleeve in holes of mentioned separating insulators. In this device seating part of holder is installed on insulating sleeve and gripping part of holder with clamping leaves has U-shaped cross-section. On flat surface of band, slant oval dents are made which are located in two longitudinal rows at the angle of forty five degrees to longitudinal axis of resistance element band.

EFFECT: improvement of structure reliability and strength ensured by compensation of resistance band temperature deformation and providing possibility to prevent emergencies in hard traffic conditions.
