FIELD: power circuits of electric traction motors for vehicles. SUBSTANCE: module incorporating loading resistors that are used as starting, braking, or starting-and-braking resistors has fastening block that mounts resistor units; the latter are made in the form of tubular electric heaters and fastening block, in the form of heat sink. Tubular electric heaters are disposed inside heat sink in respective channels. Resistor leads protruding from heat sink are designed for connecting current leads; they are provided with insulating sleeves to protect them against moisture. Heat sink is made in the form of two interconnected heat-dissipating panels whose mating surfaces have shaped contour of such configuration that joining the panels together forms channels accommodating tubular electric heaters. Heat sink in first alternative is made of material that does not come in electric contact with material of heater casing. In second alternative use may be made of aluminum alloy and copper, respectively. Inner surfaces of heat sink channels and outer surfaces of heaters accommodated in them are electrically insulated from each other by means of heat-conducting and electricity nonconducting material. Proposed modules are suited to installation on roofs of motor cars and electric trains. EFFECT: reduced mass and flux density; simplified design. 4 cl, 4 dwg
