FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: device contains the case, locating elements and clamping elements. At reduced allowances and tolerances, it is furnished with cylindrical pins and a spherical pin rigidly fixed on the casing to form, forming the latent locating base in the form of an isosceles triangle with its height coinciding with the axis of symmetry of the proposed device. Note that two points of the said base are represented by convex tops of cylindrical fingers, while the third apex is made by the end face of the said spherical finger. Note also that the difference of heights between end faces of aforesaid pins and that of the sphere corresponds to designed position of the axis of a dihedral angle of the leg formed in space by intersection of flat trajectories of face mills at processing both sides of the leg journal dihedron.

EFFECT: stable and precise leg sizes.
