FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to chemistry of inorganic substances, more specifically to obtaining hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is obtained from oxidation of isopropanol with oxygen-containing gas and subsequent extraction from the oxidate, containing acetone, isopropanol, water, hydrogen peroxide, stabiliser and organic impurities. Acetone is separated from the oxidate in the fractionating column. The obtained bottom product is divided into circulation and target parts in ratio of (0.2-2.0):1.0. The circulation part is then returned to the isopropanol oxidation stage. A 30-60% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide is extracted from the target part.
EFFECT: higher content of hydrogen peroxide and reduced energy expenditure on extraction of the end hydrogen peroxide product.
