FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of machine building and may be used in belt-block brakes of draw works. Belt-block brake comprises brake wheel with cavity, friction elements, brake belts, cooling units, mechanical drive and toroidal rubber pneumatic chamber. On external surface of toroidal rubber pneumatic chamber there is friction coating, and its internal surface is located on fixed cylindrical annular protrusion of flange and is fixed to it by nozzles of air pipelines, at that fractioning surfaces of two stages of brake friction units are coupled. Cooling units are arranged in the form of symmetrically located pipes. Upper pipe is screwed in nozzle with hole located on external surface of brake wheel rim, and is closed on top with slotted cover. Lower pipe with bottom is screwed into nozzle with opening that is available on internal surface of brake wheel rim. Openings of nozzles connect volumes of pipes with cavity of brake wheel. There are main and additional pads put on external surfaces of pipes making friction element.
EFFECT: increased intensity of forced cooling of friction units in double-stage belt-block brake for improvement of their wear-friction properties of reverse friction pair.
