FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns technology of acoustic helmet systems and is intended for application in devices, mainly in helmet systems of aircraft targeting and indication. At least three helmet ultrasonic receivers are positioned in reference points on operator helmet, and at least three emitters are positioned in bound cockpit coordinate system in cockpit over operator helmet. At least one ultrasonic receiver of correction channel is positioned directly close to helmet, impulse ultrasonic signals are emitted and received, signal delay time between each ultrasonic emitter to each ultrasonic helmet receiver is measured. Helmet system includes calculator at least three ultrasonic emitters, at least three ultrasonic helmet receivers, at least one ultrasonic receiver of correction channel, multiplexor, signal conditioner, timer, demultiplexor, signal amplifier of helmet receivers, and automatic gain control circuit.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of defining operator helmet coordinates, reduced weight of system elements mounted on helmet.
