FIELD: automobile production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobile production and can be used as a sensor of contactless measurement of drive shaft turning torque in the system of steering wheel electromechanical amplifier control. The device contains sensitive element tightly fixed on shaft cylinder surface. The element is made from magneto-elastic material in the form of right and left-handed spirals. The shaft is located concentrically inside cylindrical coils. Coils quantity is equal to spirals total number. Thus, the middle of each coil corresponds to the middle of proper spiral. The coils are included into bridge connection fed by alternating current at resonance frequency.
EFFECT: increase of transducer sensitivity and elimination of hysteresis phenomena.
