FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to measurement equipment and may be used for contactless measurement of steering wheel shaft torsion torque, velocity and position of rotor in system of steering wheel electromechanical amplifier control. Device contains shaft and rotor connected with elastic coupling. Elastic coupling is made of two semi-couplings, on which magnet rings are fixed that are magnetised with number of poles equal to number of rotor poles, at that rings may be made of hard-magnetic material with further multipolar magnetisation. Semi-couplings are connected with elastic flat springs. On immovable casing two or more sensors of magnet field value measurement are fixed, which are installed above magnet rings and displaced in relation to each other. Circuit board of signals processing is installed in casing or outside or in external device, and is connected to sensors.
EFFECT: simplification of torsion torque sensor design, increase of maneuverability and expansion of performed functions.
