METHOD OF TREATMENT FOR PATIENTS WITH HYPOTONIC-TYPE FUNCTIONAL CONSTIPATION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61N1/36 A61N2/04 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine and is intended for treatment of hypotonic-type functional constipations. Method involves application of electric current with neuron-like impulses generated by "Миоритм-040" aggregate to mesocolon projection points on skin. Three therapeutic channels of "Миоритм-040" aggregate are utilised. Electrodes are set in 6 procedure fields and connected to three aggregate channels. Electrostimulation duration is 10 minutes. Magnetic pulse field of 50 Hz frequency and 37.5 mTl flux density at work surface is applied before electric impulse current, by continuous movement of electromagnetic inductor over front peritoneal wall along mesocolon projection for 10 minutes. Medication treatment involving cholagogic drugs and probiotics and dietary therapy focused on probiotic food are performed.

EFFECT: improved blood circulation in mesocolon, reduced perineural edema, enhanced excitability and conduction of neuron fiber, reduced electric load on patient and duration of electrode application and fixation.
