FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: spherical markers 3-4 mm in diameter are administered in an amount of 18-24 pieces. Assessment of the intestinal transit state is carried out in 100-120 hours by the number of markers located in the investigated department of the large intestine. If 5-9 markers are detected, a low degree is diagnosed, 10-15 markers - a moderate degree and 16 or more markers - a pronounced degree of intestinal transit violation.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of transit time determination across different clearly delineated departments of the colon.
