FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for research of wood cutting. Device includes unit of saw driven element with saw drive from electric motor and units for fixation and supply of researched samples of wood to saw. Unit for supply of researched samples of wood to saw represents stand hingedly installed on frame and having possibility of rotation in vertical plane parallel to saw plane, with the help of control hydraulic cylinder installed between frame and stand. Unit for wood fixation is arranged in the form of clamp with converging "П"-shaped clamps installed one inside the other with acute-angled cuts in their sides, which is mounted on movable platform installed on support plate fixed on upper end of stand and having possibility of rotation and fixation in plane parallel to plane of movable platform. Platform has possibility of displacement along support plate and fixation in any position.

EFFECT: possibility to perform research on wood cutting by disk saws.
