FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: solid tyre pyrolysis process is ensured by indirect heat treatment in essential gas tightness. Discharged hydrocarbon gas is transferred to a concurrent condensate separator connected to equipment to be rectified in a continuous concurrent flow. Separated solid components are removed, while each tyre is preheated prior to be delivered to the heating section. Before preheating, the space taken by the next tyre is vacuum-treated and filled with inert gas. And this space is separated from the heating section and the environment. The solid tyre pyrolysis equipment comprises a vertical cylindrical reactor (1) supplied with a combustion system for heating with a horizontal feed conveyor system in upper level of the reactor, and a discharge conveyor system below with pipelines connected in upper part of the reactor connected to its internal space and used to vent gaseous products discharged in the reactor. The combustion system comprises a combustion chamber (2) covering the reactor (1) along its height, and burners (3) symmetrically surrounding the reactor (1) in the bottom of the combustion chamber (2), and the pipeline provided in upper part of the combustion chamber and used to discharge the exhaust gases. Herewith the feed conveyor system comprises series feed wheel conveyer and the chambers characterised that there are two chambers available. The first chamber is horizontally directed towards an open suction chamber (6) connected to the feed wheel conveyor (5). The second chamber while partially covering the reactor is also horizontal and tightly closed, being actually a precombustion chamber (7). Pressure isolated vertical valve (8) is arranged between both chambers (6) and (7). Walls of the precombustion chamber (7) in the first section (9) over the cylindrical reactor (1) are double-layered and water-cooled. They are provided with a horizontal passage (14) for vacuum treatment and inert gas inlet (15) thus internal surface of the precombustion chamber (7) is coated with spark-protecting material, while the outlet conveyor system (feed conveying system) consists of conveyor belts with one of them being a horizontal shuttle conveyor (25), and two others being left (26) and right (27) inclined outlet conveyors.
EFFECT: no-oxygen medium generated in the reactor with improved heat efficiency.
