FIELD: weapon.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge is designed for using it in hand-held and automatic grenade launchers. The cartridge contains a grenade and case with chamber of low and high pressure coupled with the latter by a fire destructible link with initiation apparatus and ball powder propellant disposed in the chamber of high pressure, by perforating in the baffler dividing the chambers, and reheat plug covering the perforation from the side of propellant charge. A metal mesh is disposed between the charge and reheat plug attached to the latter and overlapped the perforation.

EFFECT: increase of initial velocity of grenade and density of hits.
