FIELD: applicable in large-caliber firearm (carabines, mortars, etc.)

SUBSTANCE: the cartridge has a two-chamber cartridge case with a high-pressure chamber that accommodates a propellant charge and a lengthened affecting element, including a body and an adapter of elastic material. Coaxial ducts terminating in a cavity near the front end of the adapter, the cavity is joined to the adapter duct and repeats the external surface of the latter. Positioned in the ducts is a rod with a flange installed with a stop of the front end against the surface of the adapter cavity and of the flange against the body on the side of the cartridge case. The adapter is lowered from the edge of its front end to the inner diameter of the body, and an antifriction coating is applied onto its external surface, the cross-section area of the rod flange is made equal to or larger than half the cross-section area of the bore, the affecting element of provided with a sealed of the joint between the body and the flange of the rod installed with a stop against the high-pressure chamber of the cartridge case.

EFFECT: enhanced range of aimed fire and impact effect on the target without any increase of traumatism for the target.
