FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: grenade represents a gas generator with a combat charge and a retarder mounted at the grenade bottom. The retarder includes a plain channel and a pyrotechnic composition of end burning, which is pressed into it. A safety lock is installed before the pyrotechnic composition of the retarder in order to prevent direct action on its end face of a propellant charge powder gases pressure at firing. A case is connected to the grenade with a link destructed during firing.

EFFECT: reduction of action of combustion products of the pyrotechnic composition on muzzle velocity of the grenade.
