FIELD: physics; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to inspecting metrological characteristics of vibration transducers (sensors) and determination of their capacity for further use without dismantling from the operating object. To implement the method, a vibration transducer is stimulated. The value of voltage at the output is measured and the conversion coefficient is calculated, the value of which is used to determine the state of the vibration transducer. The vibration transducer is stimulated using a standard electric signal, successively on frequencies within the working range of the vibration transducer, through supply from an external generator of sine-signal voltage, substituting mechanical stimulation of the vibration transducer, obtained from measuring voltage drop across a resistor, included in the signal circuit break of the vibration transducer, stimulated during primary inspection with a given value of vibration acceleration at a given frequency.

EFFECT: reduced losses on determining the possibility of using vibration transducers (sensors) in measuring information systems with periodic inspection.
