FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, orthopaedics. The examined patient stands with one foot on a flatbed scanner fixed on a balance. With his other foot the patients stands on a support platform. Foot load is specified 20, 50 and 80% of body weight. Plantar foot surface is scanned. It is combined with measuring the foot arch height.
EFFECT: invention can be used as a screening method for platypodia detection.
