FIELD: production processes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to machining the parts made in intractable materials and to milling gas turbine rotor with blades made integral with the latter. The proposed method comprises using the milling cutter that features a particular radius. For the milling cutter to rotate aligned, it is set to rotate about its axis and to move so as to shift the milling cutter reference point located, preferably, on the tool axis, along several curvilinear trajectories that feature, preferably, various curvilinearity. Note that the milling cutter is moved relative to milled workpiece with radial depth feed. Aforesaid curvilinearity of every trajectory at its every point is preset so that the milling cutter is surrounded by workpiece being machined by the amount not exceeding the maximum tolerable value.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of milling and increased milling cutter durability.
