FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: thermo- or sound insulation product on base of mineral fibers is produced by means of internal centrifuging, drawing with gas flow of high temperature and creping. The product does not contain devitrified and/or non-fiber particles; length of fibers is not more, than 2 cm, preferably, less 1.5 cm, and micro-dimension of fiber is less or equal to 4 per 5 grams, in particular from 2.5 to 4 per 5 gram, or micro-dimension is less or equal to 18 l/mn, in particular, it is from 11 to 15 l/mn, more specifically, it is approximately from 12 to 13 l/mn. The product is produced in an installation consisting of a centrifuge, of a drum, of a device for fiber drawing, of a pneumatic facility in form of crown blow for regulating dimension of fibers, and of a mechanic device. The installation is equipped with facilities of lowering and removing of drum relative to the upper part of the centrifuge.
EFFECT: upgraded resistance to de-lamination and compaction of product.
