FIELD: different branches of industry; heating systems; generation of heat by ecologically clean method of heating liquid heat carrier. SUBSTANCE: heat generator is made in form of vortex tube consisting of swirling entry device, housing and heated liquid outlet branch pipe. To increase efficiency by intensification of processes of conversion of energy of liquid delivered into heat generator into heat, housing of vortex tube and heated liquid outlet branch pipe are installed at different sides relative to swirling device. Inner space of vortex tube housing is a vessel, for instance, truncated cone, diverging from neck connected with swirling entry device to bottom. Walls of space have longitudinal cylindrical grooves. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced overall dimensions and mass simplified design, facilitated operation. 5 cl, 2 dwg
