FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to optical instrument engineering. Monochromator contains lens that plays a role of focusing and dispergating elements and adjacent to it opaque screen closing lens central area, input lens and two identical fibre-optic transducers (FOT). Each image converter has end face with smaller area and larger area. The second FOT and lens are installed with the possibility of precision movement along device optical axis. According to the second version between the first FOT and focusing and dispergating lens there is second lens identical to focusing and dispergating lens installed with the possibility of movement along device axis.
EFFECT: provision of possibility to receive and observe monochromatic (mono spectral) images of two-dimensioned objects in any specified narrow spectral band pertaining to instrument working spectral range without polychromatic images and without necessity to correct the size of polychromatic images.
