FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: jet-acoustic density metre for liquids can be used in different branches of industries, for instance in chemistry, paint industry, microbiological industry and food industry. The decision of this engineering problem is obtained by the fact that jet-acoustic density metre is additionally equipped with volume changing device. The output of this device is connected to pre-diaphragm pneumatic tank with alternating volume. The proposed jet-acoustic density metre helps to increase the accuracy of non-contact non-destructive control of corrosive, inflammable and explosive liquids by provision of generated vibrations frequency adjustment and use of jet-acoustic effectors. The effectors are accompanied by formation of standing wave in space between acoustic vibrations generator and controlled surface by way of its extreme point shifting measurement at changing of deflection complex coefficient phase.

EFFECT: increase of measurement accuracy at the expense of provision of generated vibrations frequency adjustment.
