FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for ultrasonic inspection of products. Ultrasonic transducer consists of a water supply device, a housing opened on one end and equipped with outlet hole on the other one, and acoustic block with radiant surface on the edge, which is installed in the housing opposite the outlet hole wherein there installed is a bush the inner diametre whereof decreases in the direction from acoustic block edge up to the size which is not less than diametre of radiant surface of acoustic block, and inner surface of bush is equipped with longitudinal ribs the height of which decreases to zero values of bush small diametre; at that, water supply device is made in the form of inlet hole made in the housing with a nozzle, radiant surface of acoustic block is located in the plane including inlet hole axis, and gap between acoustic block and housing walls from inlet hole to open end of the housing is filled with hydraulic insulating material.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of ultrasonic jet transducer without deteriorating acoustic characteristics thereof.
