FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed jet acoustic transducer comprises casing, water chamber, power supply and ultrasound transducers. Note here that water chamber surface is equidistant from half the surface of controlled object, for example, tube displacing linearly on roll table. Water chamber has channel formed by water chamber horizontal surface and lateral walls and narrowing along radius R from water chamber fluid jet inlet with section width of S0 to water chamber outlet with width S1 according to certain relationship. Acoustic transducers are arranged regularly along water chamber surface. Note also that identical jet acoustic transducer is arranged mirrorly along tube displacement direction for ultrasound control of the tube second half.
EFFECT: stable laminar fluid flow in water chamber that allows reducing acoustic noises and higher resolution of acoustic signals.
