FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for routine inspection of insulation condition of console from metal reinforcement of reinforced concrete support of overhead system of electrified railroad. Insulation condition is determined by resistance value (R0) of earth circuit of reinforced concrete supports. Measured resistance (R0) is compared with the specified value, and measured resistance value that is less than the specified value (R0<100 Ohm) shows that insulation has been damaged. In order to measure resistance, to the measuring circuit between rail and console of support there connected is pulse voltage supply with output resistance of R<<100 Ohm, which contains condenser of certain electric capacity and charged with internal voltage supply up to the specified value; sequence of pulses different in amplitude is supplied to the inspected circuit, and pulse amplitude value does not exceed maximum allowable value of test voltage of console insulation from reinforcement; there determined is duration of decrease of fixed value of output voltage Uoutput on condenser to Uoutput/e value, where e - Napierian base, resistance of console-reinforcement insulation is calculated according to the formula R0"рАз"/C"эт" for each pulse of test voltage, and by the set of obtained values the inspected insulation is judged.

EFFECT: improving reliability of inspection method of insulation condition of consoles of overhead contact wire suspension relative to metal reinforcement of reinforced concrete supports of overhead system by increasing measurement accuracy of Ro resistance of consoles insulation of overhead contact wire suspension relative to metal reinforcement of reinforced concrete supports of overhead system of electrified railroad.
