FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: contact network contains, on each support: carrier cable, strings, contact wire, console, traction, holder rods, where carrier cable, strings and contact wire are separated from metallic holding elements of aforementioned elements on the support by means of isolators, and between metallic holding elements and the support interconnected radio transmitter and voltage sensor are installed, which ensure recording of appearance of voltage on the support in case of penetration of isolator and also ensure transmission of radio signal to disable electric power in contact network, also positioned on each support are introduced radio signal receivers which constitute radio receiving-transmitting devices together with radio transmitters.
EFFECT: creation of contact network, characterized by high reliability due to prevented possibility of artificial short circuiting of contact network and a rail, disabling of fast action machines in protected area without short circuit currents, indication of damaged isolator and without causing damage to support, and also availability of radio communication between adjacent supports of contact network.
