FIELD: personal utensils.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to electric vacuum cleaners. Vacuum cleaner contains a dust-separating compartment separating dust coming through suction inlet along with the air, dust collecting chamber for accumulation of dust separated in the dust-separating compartment, light emitting device for light emission into the dust collection chamber, light intercepting device for interception of light coming through the dust collection chamber, measuring device for evaluation of the amount of the accumulated in the accumulation chamber dust based on the state of the light intercepting device and an indicating device displaying amount of the accumulated dust measured by the measuring device. Measuring device is capable of measuring amount of dust coming through the suction inlet on the account of the state of light intercepting device, and evaluating whether the amount of the accumulated dust has reached preliminary set value. Light intercepting device contains the first light intercepting unit measuring amount of the dust coming through the suction inlet and the second light intercepting unit evaluating whether the amount of the accumulated dust has reached preliminary set value. The first light intercepting unit is arranged along the light flow before the second light intercepting unit. Version of embodiment of the vacuum cleaner presupposes installation of a detachable dust-container into the frame of the vacuum cleaner having electric fan for dust suction through the suction unit and an alarm system producing alarming signal based on the amount of dust measured by the measuring device.

EFFECT: secured reliable alarm system indicating whether the amount of accumulated dust has reached or exceeded preset value, and in registration of the amount of dust coming through the air duct.
