FIELD: treatment facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for cleaning waste water from ammonia and heavy metal ions, for example waste water from galvanic lines, following ammoniate galvanising and cadmium plating. The methods provides for combined oxidising by ozone and hydrogen peroxide at the presence of heterogeneous catalyst. Porous ceramic materials such as metallurgical production wastes are used as heterogeneous catalyst in the form of Al2O3, CaO, SIO2 and MgO -based particles with active component additives in the form of transition metals and their oxides at the following ratio of components, wt %: Al2O3 - 25, CaO - 35, SiO2 - 25, MgO - 10, Fe2O3 - 1, Na2O - 1, TiO2 - 1.5, Cr - 0.01, Mn - 0.5, Cu - 0.01, V - 0.01, Ni -0.001. Hydrogen peroxide and ozone are introduced under concentration of 150 and 35 mg/l accordingly at the supply rate 150 cm3/min, at pH=9.7-11 and 50-55°C during 60 minutes. The catalyst flow rate is 5-10 cm3 per 1 dm3 of waste water.
EFFECT: method ensures reduced hazardous effect of waste water to environment after galvanic production and allows for achieving high rate of waste water cleaning from ammonia and toxic metal ions such as zinc, ion and cadmium.
