FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lithium metallurgy field, particularly to extraction of lithium from spodumene concentrates and method of receiving of concentrated solution of lithium sulphate from the concentrate of β-spodumene. Method includes sulphatisation of the concentrate by sulfuric acid with receiving of sulphatisation pulp, water leaching of prosulphatisated concentrate, separation of leaching pulp for filter cake and sulfate solution. Then it is implemented the first aqueous cleaning of filter cake from sulfate solution, separation of cleaning pulp on filter cake and the first cleansing solution, the second aqueous cleaning of filter cake from sulfate solution, separation of cleaning pulp on filter cake and the second cleansing solution. Leaching is implemented with closed revolution of sulfate solution and revolution of the first washing solution with concentration of lithium in sulfate solution. Additionally sulphatising is implemented with closed revolution of liquid phase of sulphatising pulp. Leaching, the first and the second cleaning are implemented in countercurrent regime with closed revolution of sulfate solution, the first and the second cleansing solution accordingly at leaching stage, the first and the second cleaning up to lithium concentration in sulfate solution up to the concentration 25÷26 g/l.

EFFECT: providing of economical lithium concentration in sulfate solution.
