FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: moist-steam turbine contains wheel space linked with revolving section having steam bypass pipe. The inlet surface of revolving section is implemented as concentric profiled rings, while the outlet surface is represented as a screen. The inlet and outlet surfaces of revolving section are located so that to form annular channel. By means of the annular channel, the revolving section is connected to the moist steam bleeding chamber. The concentric and profiled rings form additional annular channel between each other. The said additional channel links the revolving section with the moist steam bleeding chamber. During quick turn of the moist steam flow in the area of revolving section, suspended and teardrop-shaped moist precipitates on the rings at high speed. The formed water film moves along the ring surfaces and is removed to the moist steam bleeding chamber though the annular channels together with some amount of steam.
EFFECT: optimally machined and profiled rings together with increased number of annular channels improve effectiveness of moist removal.
