FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: threaded connection consists of a cone and a coupling, at that, each of those elements has a contact surface containing a threaded section and a non-threaded metal contact section. Contact surface at least of one of the elements has an upper layer of viscous liquid or semi-solid lubricating coating containing at least wax and salt of alkaline-earth metal of fatty acid and not containing hazardous heavy metal such as plumb, and lower layer of dry solid coating formed by water composition of resin coating, the type of coating composition that ensures available solvent, or the composition of the coating dried with ultraviolet radiation. There described are treatment methods of threaded connection surface.
EFFECT: increased resistance to wear, and protection against corrosion.
