FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to input-output devices for processors and microcontrollers, and more specifically to serial interface controllers SPI, Microwire, I2S, and SPORT. The device contains control and state registers of the receiver and transmitter, frequency dividers for the receiver and transmitter, units for generating clock pulses of the receiver and transmitter, each of which consists of a clock signal multiplexer and a clock signal converter, a unit for generating control signals for the receiver and transmitter, each of which consists of a control signal generator and a control signal converter, a transmitter unit, consisting of a write buffer, counter and multiplexer, a receiver unit, consisting of read buffer, exchange logic unit, receiving register, counter and a decoder, output control unit and output control register.
EFFECT: more functional capabilities of the device due to functional combination of a range of serial interfaces.
