FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine area, to be exact, ophthalmology and neurology and can be used for estimation of qualitative-time indicators of colour sight. As a light source the dichromatic red-green light-emitting diode, giving consecutive pairs of additive admixtures in the form of maculae of yellow colour at a simultaneous flare of red and green colours, is used. Using the tachistoscopic device, it is possible to set time of exposition of each pair of an additive admixture in 1 ms and an interval between them in 500 ms. In the first flash of pair the red and green diodes light up simultaneously, and in the second flash between fire of red and green diodes the time delay accruing with 3 ms step in each following pair till the moment of perception by the examinee of change of a shade of yellow colour is entered, and on size of this delay, differential threshold of perception of colour contrast is estimated.
EFFECT: way allows raising accuracy of research of colour sight of the person.
