SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular, to neurology, psychology, psychiatry, ophthalmology. The point of fixation, in form of a cross, is shown to the tested person with 2 sec exposure. After that, the tested image and post-exposure matrix, corresponding in form and size to the tested image, are successively shown for 300-500 msec. The matrix is divided into 9 similar rectangular sectors, each with definite colour and figure from 1 to 9, which are distributed in order in from left to right and from top to bottom direction, each being 6-8 angular seconds high. Location of the first jump of eyes onto the area of visual interest on the image is determined by the figure and colour of the sector on the matrix, which the tested person names.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase reliability of determining location of the first jump of human eyes.
