FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves showing contrasting black thing outline image displayed on the background of illuminated screen positioned 4-6 m far from the image to a patient during 10-15 s. The patient concentrates his sight on single point on figure image. Then the patient closes the eyes and observes the shown figure image imprint retained on the retina during 8-10 s. Next to it, the patient reproduces the imprint image on a carrier. Then, the patient and diagnosing expert record and analyze figure integrity, its color and spatial position and traveling direction. Image features being found changed in several sequential tests during the same session, patient psychoemotional condition is considered to be changed in time. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in setting relation between image features and human psychoemotional condition. 5 cl, 11 dwg
