FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to information technologies and in particular to methods of defining trainee and/or testee cognitive activity when estimating their professional suitability. At first timing is carried out with time measured form the moment of data outlet in form of questions from the information source to the moment of latter's receiving feedback loop signal from trainee or testee with shaped answers. In accordance with timing results, using method of systems information analysis, characteristics of informational processes in closed loop system are specified and, according to these characteristics, information resistance τ, information rigidity L and information memory of trainee or testee are defined. When testing trainee or testee in form of question-and-answer sequence with different cyclic frequency ωi=1/2πT of questioning, time T of trainee or testee reaction to the received information is measured. Actual information tension and current of trainee or testee are determined and thereafter mentioned information parametres of trainee or testee are defined from square modules of complex information resistance.

EFFECT: method aims at improving accuracy of defining trainee or testee information parametres.
