METHOD OF EVALUATING INFORMATION CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENT Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/16

Abstract RU 2468749 C2

FIELD: physics, computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information technology and specifically to means of determining cognitive activity of a testee when evaluating professional aptitude. Information process characteristics are determined from measurement results using a method of estimating information characteristics from which the following information parameters of the testee are determined: information resistance, information rigidity and information memory. At the beginning of the test, after reading the test, the time for understanding and forming an answer is determined from measurement results. Information flow is then determined as a ratio of the amount of information to the time for understanding and forming an answer. Further, the information characteristics are then evaluated over the time for understanding and forming an answer.

EFFECT: method enables to evaluate information characteristics of a student and rationally organise the educational process and establish qualification.
