FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: surface coating of casting mold is implemented from the mixture of discrete material, melting point of which higher melting point of poured material, for instance, high-aluminous refractory material, and material, melting point of which is lower melting point of poured material, for instance, bentonitic clay. In surface coating, allowing thickness of required burning-in on cast, there are created channels, total volume of which is equal to 0.07-0.75 of total volume of casting mold surface coating. Into casting moldit is poured liquid material at temperature which is 1.12-1.34 of melting temperature of this material. Liquid metal penetrates into channels of surface coating and smelts low-melt component. After material consolidation on cast surface it is formed layer of burnt nonmetallic material in the form of composite of dissimilar materials. Main part of cast can allow high mechanical and structural durability, and surface coating of cast can allow resistance to high temperatures and hostile environment, high wear resistance.
EFFECT: reduction of process labour-intensiveness, cost cutting for energy and materials, efficient production, increasing of wear resistance and durability of products.
