FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Installation comprises foundry bay, billet smelting furnace, heated tank with pattern material, device to make patterns and turn-and-lift mechanism. Single pattern is used to make the mold by low-pressure injection moulding of material that feature fusion temperature lower than that of casting metal and higher than temperature of patter material. Mould is placed on the furnace, evacuated and filled with melted metal at low pressure. Pattern is melted by mould heat, its temperature being maintained by heaters. Pattern is removed from the mould at vacuum. Mould is fused by casting heat.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency.
