FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting, particularly, to production of composite articles. Proposed method comprises producing the mould, loading solid lumpy material therein and pouring metal in that mould. Solid lumpy material is enveloped by liquid material and heated. Mould is vibrated at 100-300 oscillation/min frequency to allow for intensive floating up of solid lumpy material and its distribution, as a layer, at mould top section during the entire mould loading cycle. Unless liquid material is solidified in the mould, it is subjected to pulse effects brought through gating system at the rate of 80-120 effects per minute. Liquid material may be represented by metal or nonmetallic materials, while solid lumpy material may be represented by slag, fire-clay grog, crushed glass, etc.
EFFECT: reduced labor input.
