FIELD: construction, road engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for removal of ice and snow slippery coats from surface of hard carpets. Device includes elements that damage slippery coat arranged in the form of discs set with specified eccentricity on two axes coupled with each other in direction of motion at the angle of more than 180 degrees, which may be varied depending on slippery coat characteristics. Discs may passively rotate from their towing force and friction forces between edges of discs and surface of slippery coat. Frequency of angular rotation speed and amplitude of discs vertical oscillations are defined by diametre, eccentricity of discs and reciprocal speed of transport vehicle that tows the device. In order to provide for reciprocal speed, device is fixed to transport vehicle moving on road carpet with required speed, and in order to provide for required breaking forces, discs are loaded with appropriate vertical load.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of road carpets cleaning from ice and snow slippery coats.
